What’s most remarkable about indigenous wine grapes is that they exist at all — often having beat the odds of fashion, fungi and phylloxera. This module of the Masterclass Utah Summer Series will focus on three distinct mono-varietal wines which exemplify classic characteristics of autochthonous grapes in their historic places of origin. A guided tasting will present each variety in the context of its unique history, geography and varietal nuances, while offering an approachable primer on respective viticultural and winemaking methods.
A groundbreaking series of guided tastings with Terrestoria founder Stephanie Cuadra, featuring artisanal wines from women-led wineries of Italy and Spain — all distributed exclusively in Utah.
INDIE GRAPE REVIVAL STORIES features the following wines from Terrestoria’s portfolio of women-led wineries:
NOELIA BEBELIA (Albariño) 2016 | D.O. Rías Baixas | Galicia
MORASSO (Timorasso) 2013 | Colli Tortonesi DOC (Derthona) | Piedmont
RICCIO BIANCO (Pallagrello Bianco) 2013 | Terre del Volturno IGT | Campania
